Office Policies

Payment Policy

​

Insurance: Please note that we do not currently accept insurance and we do not participate with Medicare, Medicaid or HMOs. This decision was made to allow Dr. Wang to dedicate the appropriate amount of time to providing individualized care for her patients. 

 

Payments are due in full at the time of service by credit card, CareCredit or cash. We do not accept personal checks.

After your visit, you may submit your receipt to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Insurance coverage and reimbursement vary by plan.

 

Our services may also qualify for HSA expense reimbursements. We recommend checking the most current eligible HSA expense list to confirm eligibility.​​​

Cancellation Policy

​

Please keep in mind that your appointment time is reserved in advance for you. We understand that life happens and you might need to cancel. Please try to give us advanced notice if possible.

 

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice require a non-refundable deposit prior to rescheduling. No shows/failed appointments without notification will incur a missed appointment fee.

Telehealth Visits

​

We offer in-person and Telehealth visits for your convenience. Please note that all patients requesting care, including Telehealth visits, must be seen in-person at least once every 12 months. Patients must be physically located within Illinois during the Telehealth visit.

Home Visits

​

We offer home visits for those who are homebound and reside within the state of Illinois. Travel fees will be calculated based on distance from our office and will be charged in addition to our standard fees. Please contact us for more details. 

Concierge Patient Advocate Services

​

We offer concierge patient advocate services to assist with all aspects of your care.  Fees are calculated based on daily rates plus travel expenses. Please contact us for more details. 

HIPAA Privacy Policy

​

Prior to your first appointment, you will receive a copy of our HIPAA Privacy Policy and Acknowledgement of Receipt by email. You may also download a copy of our policy here.

Office Staff Availability

​

We will always do our best to respond to all of your concerns both during and after office hours. If there is ever a life-threatening emergency, please go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
