MLS Laser Therapy
Low-Level Laser Therapy/Photobiomodulation
Gentle therapeutic light therapy, also called low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or photobiomodulation, uses specific wavelengths of light to calm irritated nerves or muscles, and to support healing. It’s painless, with no heat, cutting, or downtime.
Conditions that therapeutic light therapy helps:
-
Muscle pain
-
Joint pain/inflammation
-
Jaw pain
-
Neck pain
-
Burning mouth/tongue symptoms
ASA MLS M-Hi Laser Therapy
Gentle light therapy that helps your body heal.
The ASA Multiwave Locked System (MLS ) Laser uses patented technology that focuses beams of light to calm pain, reduce swelling, and support your body’s natural healing. The treatment is painless and quick, and it needs no needles, medication, or downtime.
How it works
The MLS laser sends two wavelengths of light into the treatment area at the same time (compared with traditional lasers that emit only one wavelength) :
808nm: A steady beam that helps ease inflammation and swelling
905nm: A pulsing beam that reaches deeper tissues and helps quiet pain signals
The two beams are timed to work together, so each one strengthens the other. The light energy is absorbed by your cells and helps them repair themselves. It also improves blood flow to the area, which brings in oxygen and nutrients and carries away the fluid that causes swelling.
What to expect
-
You will feel either nothing or mild warmth at the treatment site.
-
Most sessions take less than 15 minutes.
-
You can return to your normal activities right away.
-
Many patients notice relief within the first few sessions.
How It Helps With Healing
-
Reduces pain and inflammation
-
Eases swelling and tension
-
Improves movement and comfort
-
Supports healing in irritated tissues and nerves
