Sound Healing - Solfeggio Frequencies

Solfeggio Frequencies

Solfeggio frequencies are a set of tones that have an incredible effect on both the body and the mind. Each Solfeggio tone is comprised of a frequency intended to balance your energy and keep your body, mind, and spirit in perfect harmony.

Solfeggio frequencies are not new. In fact, they've been used since ancient times. The ancient 6-tone scale used in sacred spiritual music, including the well known Gregorian Chants, were based on solfeggio frequencies. These chants were believed to impart spiritual blessings.

These tones are most effective when you can barely hear them. They do not need to be listened to at high volumes. Instead, the tones are meant to be played in the background at low volumes which makes it easy to apply this sound healing technique in your daily routine. Solfeggio frequencies can be used to quiet active youngsters, to help you focus while you're working, or to help you wind down for rest.

How to Listen to Solfeggio Frequencies

You can play any of these frequencies quietly in the background while you work, sleep, read, cook, teach, etc.

Apps such as Spotify have playlists, or you can also find some on YouTube.

Step 1: Find a quiet place to sit or lie down.

Step 2: Play through any or all of the frequencies you like. You can listen in any order. You do not have to listen to all. 528Hz is a good one to start with.

Step 3: Adjust the volume so it is comfortable but low. These frequencies are best listened to on lower volume settings.

Step 4: There is no minimum or maximum amount of time that is appropriate for listening.

Step 5: Sit back, enjoy and let the frequencies do their magic.
